What Cá Buồm is
Cá Buồm is one price table across Vietnamese shops. A single search shows where the same product is sold and where it costs less today.
What we do
Every night we read the public category pages of eleven retail chains — electronics and groceries — and merge records about the same product into one row. Groceries are matched by the barcode printed on the pack, electronics by brand and model code.
The result is one page per product: the current price at each shop, a day-by-day price history and a link back to the shop page itself. The full method, including what is deliberately left out of the comparison, is on the methodology page.
What we do not do
How the project earns
Two sources: links to shops — some of which may be affiliate links — and shelf-price monitoring for brands and distributors. Neither changes the order of shops or the numbers shown.
Language
The site is written in Vietnamese. The English version is a translation of the same data, for readers from abroad.
